Hi! I’m Marion Mann and I’m passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward healing. Before transitioning into counseling, I spent three years as a middle school teacher in North Carolina, which gave me valuable insight into the emotional and behavioral challenges that children and adolescents face. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands, and work with clients of all ages with anxiety, trauma, depression, and self-esteem issues.

I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their feelings and challenges. Spirituality and faith are key parts of my life, and I’ve found them to be essential areas to explore in therapy as well. Whether faith is an important part of your life or something you’re curious about, we can explore it together in a way that feels right for you. In all aspects of therapy, you’re always in the driver’s seat—what we discuss is entirely up to you.

I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, to tailor each session to your specific needs. Whether we’re using talk therapy or, for younger clients, engaging in play therapy, I’m here to help you explore the roots of your issues, navigate your emotions, and work toward your goals.

I believe therapy should be as unique as the individual, so I tailor my approach based on each client’s needs. I use a combination of evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for addressing thought patterns, EMDR for trauma healing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation. Acknowledging that a lot of our struggles stem from our past, I find it essential to explore the root causes of your challenges to facilitate true healing. For children, I often incorporate Play Therapy to help them express their feelings in a way that feels natural and comfortable.

Additionally, I integrate a strengths-based and relational approach, focusing on your inherent abilities and the importance of connection in the healing process. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, trauma, or relationship challenges, we’ll explore underlying causes while developing practical strategies to help you manage life’s stresses. Together, we’ll find the methods that resonate best with you, ensuring that you feel empowered throughout the therapeutic journey.
